We have the same kind of stardust in our souls, read the welcome sign at Destinee and Michael’s magical Halloween wedding. The couple got married in Detroit, Michigan at the majestic Old St. Mary’s Catholic Church, one of the oldest Catholic churches in downtown Detroit.

What could be better than a secret elopement on the beach? Summertime is the perfect time to sneak away to the dunes for a lakeside elopement or adventure session! We met Esteban and Iris on the sandy hills overlooking Lake Michigan in the middle of July. They were the perfect couple to exemplify all that a Lake Michigan adventure elopement can really be. Marris and Stephanie were referred to us by another photographer who was unable to shoot on their date, and we were suggested due to our similar style. We love our close-knit connection of Midwest photographers in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area especially, and we were so excited to get to know these two!

With how hard the wedding industry was struck by the Coronavirus, most photographers in Northern Indiana, just like photographers around the world, found themselves with less content to put out on their social platforms and websites since real weddings just weren’t happening as much this year. Our friend Hiedi at Photos By Hiedi saw a need for wedding industry creatives to get together to make something beautiful to re-inspire and re-energize everyone creatively again, so she put on an amazing styled shoot on the shores of Lake Michigan.
